Pedigree

Sunset Rebel Yell has had a stellar show career prior to arriving in Michigan. His sire is the great Sunset Limited Edition, and his siblings and 1/2 siblings have had as an illustrious show career as him. Rebel was bred by Rob and Brenda Murray in Ontario, Canada. They showed him extensively, and he was undefeated in his division until his retirement from the show ring. We imported him into Michigan in January of 2008 and had a remarkable set of calves out of him the following year.

These photos all show this bull standing naturally, with exquisite conformation, unposed.

He passes this conformation on to his offspring.

He is a quiet, well-mannered bull that is easy-keeping and naturally fleshy. We anticipate he will pass those characteristics to his offspring. His daughters have proven to be quiet, gentle mothers with show-quality conformation. Calves are small and vigorous at birth. Heifer calves have averaged 65.08#, while bulls have averaged about 10 pounds heavier, at 75.63#. Overall birth weight average for all calves is just a hair over 70#.
